Your people need to know what they are responsible for and what others are as well. We’ve found time and time again that clear understanding around expectations leads to better team work, delivery and efficiency.

Try this exercise. Ask your key management team what they and those around them are are responsible for, how they are tracking and what they need to do to achieve their goals. Simple questions. The teams with a high level of clarity around these things are the ones that can make better and faster decisions. You may find that they know what they have to do but not how much of it or how often. For example how many sales do they need to make or how quickly do they need to deliver that project?
